About Our Program

The Wisconsin Bandits program has helped aspiring young athletes get the training, tools, and coaching they need to succeed at the next level. For over 25 years the Wisconsin Bandits has been doing this for girls from all over the Midwest. Our program has afforded many young athletes the amazing experience of going to college when they may not have been able to afford to do so in the past. We have turned young athletes into you young ladies, and ultimately into successful women.
The Wisconsin Bandits Sports Academy started as a vision by Roger Schliewe over 25 years ago when his daughter Brooke asked him to coach her team in Horicon Wisconsin. Since that time, Coach Schliewe has won numerous state titles as a HS coach, and was inducted in the Wisconsin Softball Hall of Fame in 2016. It started with one team and now fields 2 to 3 teams at the U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18 levels. The programs has won numerous State, Regional and National Titles at all age levels, and has sent hundreds of girls off to college to continue playing softball. With over 120 girls in the program today and growing, we realize the need to help these young ladies achieve their goals. Our girls come from all over the state of Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota. It’s not just a local community program it’s a nationally recognized program that has had teams play on ESPN.
